Andre Shih

DVM DACVAA DACVECC

Dr. Andre Shih received his DVM from University of Sao Paulo Brazil in 1999 and then moved to the US and completed additional training at University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine, and also earned a Certificate in Veterinary Acupuncture. He worked in private practice as an Emergency & Critical Care veterinarian at a large referral hospital before embarking on his anesthesia residency at the University of Florida, where he is currently on faculty as an Associate Professor in Anesthesia & Pain Management.
In addition, Dr Shih has just recently completed his residency in Emergency & Critical Care. His areas of research include hypovolemic shock, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and advanced hemodynamic monitoring.
